Red Buttons (born Aaron Chwatt; February 5, 1919 – July 13, 2006) was an American actor and comedian. He won an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award, and a Laurel Award for his performance as United States Air Force crew chief Joe Kelly in the film Sayonara.
