Ruby Murray

Ruby Florence Murray (29 March 1935 – 17 December 1996) was a Northern Irish singer from Belfast. One of the most popular performers in Britain and Ireland in the 1950s, she scored ten hits in the UK Singles Chart between 1954 and 1959, including a no. 1 with Softly, Softly.
