Yankee Grey was an American country music band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The band consisted of Tim Hunt (lead vocals), David Buchanan (bass guitar), Matthew Basford (lead guitar), Joe Caverlee (fiddle), Kevin Griffin (drums), and Jerry Hughes (keyboards). Founded in 1986, the band toured throughout the state of Ohio before being signed to a record deal with Monument Records in 1999.
