Bachman–Turner Overdrive, often abbreviated as BTO, is a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1971 under its original name "Brave Belt" by brothers Randy Bachman, Robbie Bachman, and Tim Bachman, along with their friend Fred Turner.
