John Conant Flansburgh (born May 6, 1960) is an American musician and a co-founder of alternative rock band They Might Be Giants with John Linnell, which was formed in 1982. He is a lead writer and singer and plays rhythm guitar for the band. Flansburgh was born in Lexington, Massachusetts to Earl Flansburgh and Polly Flansburgh.
