John Chadwick Stirratt is an American bassist and multi-instrumentalist for Wilco and The Autumn Defense. == Early career == Stirratt grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana. He attended Mandeville High School and the University of Mississippi, and is a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity.
